Charlotte Lawrence has recently proven herself as one to watch and her first single of 2021 cements that claim. ‘Talk You Down’ and its mesmerising visualiser is her best effort yet. Her music merges an appreciation for classic pop hooks with the slightly left-leaning darkness of the modern pop scene and her highly personal lyrical style. She explains the background behind the track: “Everyone deals with their emotions in different ways and we’ve all been dealing with so many different types of emotions in the last year. I wanted to be a part of a song about anxiety and how I deal with it.
